Police located the woman's body in the water at Breakheart Reservation on Tuesday, May 30 shortly after 11:00 a.m., according to Massachusetts State Police.
Saugus Police responded to the scene and pulled the body to shore, State Police said. First responders declared the woman dead onsite.
Officials specify that it is not currently known if the woman died by drowning. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner took custody of the body and will conduct a post-mortem examination.
State Police said there is no evidence of foul play. The woman's identity has yet to be released.
